McHenry Chamber of Commerce

July 2022 — McHenry Chamber of Commerce hosts two wonderful events each year (the McHenry Beach Bash and the McHenry Fiesta Day Parade). YCB was excited to be part of both in 2022, it's our chance to be part of the McHenry community. Over the two events we handed out 1,650 books to 274 McHenry County Kids


Main Stay Therapeutic Farm

May 2022 — We are pleased to welcome Main Stay Therapeutic Farm as a new Program Partner with YCB. Main Stay's mission is to enrich mind, body and spirit through powerful connections with horses, animals and nature. We were excited to be part of their books in the barnyard program in 2022. YCB supplied 246 books for 43 children.


Community Action Agency for McHenry County Head Start

April 2022 — We are pleased to welcome Community Action Agency for McHenry County Head Start as a new Program Partner with YCB. McHenry County Head Start focus is to provide access and opportunity for those they serve and those who support their efforts. We were excited to supply totes/books twice in 2022 (April & September) for 420 kids that included 2,310 children's books.


SGA Youth & Family Services

March 2022 — We were fortunate to drop off another set of totes fill with books for children this year to support their many programs. 344 books for another 76 children. Thank you, SGA, for your continued partnership.


Rucker Academy/Racine Courts

March 2022 — Please join in welcoming Rucker Academy/Racine Courts to the YCB Family. Working with Mariann Jordan and DeAndre Rucker we provided books for a new learning library at Racine Courts. YCB donated 996 books for 200 area children. We thank you for your support and look forward to the future.


Neighbor to Neighbor - Literacy Project N2N

March 2022 — We are extremely pleased to announce our latest partner - Neighbor to Neighbor Literacy Project who came onboard March 2022 - N2N is a Non-Profit dedicated to expanding access to free books for children, teens and adults by installing neighborhood little free libraries in the Chicago-land area. Metropolitan Family Services - Altgeld Gardens/Calumet

January 2022 — We are extremely pleased to work with Metropolitan Family Services again in 2022. YCB Provided books to their Altgeld Gardens and Calumet locations (https://www.facebook.com/MetroFamChicago). In total we provided 1,735 books to 538 children. Metropolitan Family Services has 1,200 full- and part-time professional staff dedicated to providing quality services to families throughout Chicago, DuPage County, Evanston/ Skokie and the southwest suburbs. Metropolitan serves more than 93,100 families and individuals as diverse as the communities in which they live.
