November 2020 —Your Children's Bookshelf was blessed to be part of a Mobile Food Pantry with People's Resource Center at the St. Andrews Church in West Chicago, IL. We were able to provide FREE gently used and new books to the families and children. We gave out 1,100 books as part of "Our Books to You" program.
November 2020 — We are excited to be partnering with 1st Way Life Center, who has been serving the McHenry community for 40 years. Teaming with them to provide books for new mothers providing literacy assistance for their children along with 1st Way as they empower women and girls with information and education in health. Welcome to the Your Children's Bookshelf family.
October 2020 — We had the pleasure to be part of the McHenry Township Fire Protection Unit Halloween Drive Thru Resource Fair. What a wonderful event. Was a great time seeing so many families from the McHenry area. We gave out 220 Totes as part of “Our Books to You” Totes Program for a total of 1,270 books. Thank you McHenry and the McHenry Township Fire Protection Unit.
October 2020 — Your Children's Bookshelf was pleased to be part of Family Focus - Aurora Early Childhood Home Visiting Program for new Mom's Group. YCB supplied 10 totes with 6 books in each for 10 new mom's and their babies (Mom's Squad). We supplied a mix of both Spanish and English books. We also hosted our first Storytime Zoom Reading for the Mom's and children as we read Giggle, Giggle, Quack (was exciting to see some of the moms and children reading along). We are excited to welcome Family Focus - Aurora Early Childhood Home Visiting to the Your Children's Bookshelf Family.
September 2020 — Your Children's Bookshelf was pleased to be part of the SPARK Fox Valley United Way Drive-thru Resource Fair in Aurora, IL. There were 42 cars with 115 people who came through and we gave out 98 totes for a total of 588 books to Aurora Area Children.Thank You to SPARK Fox Valley Untied Way for holding such a great event for families with children newborn through 5 years old.
August 2020 — Your Children's Bookshelf was pleased to be part of Hephzibah Children's Association Back to School Program. YCB supplied 600 books for 100 children as part of our certificate program. Our continued partnership with Hephzibah Children's Association is very much appreciated.

August 2020 — Your Children's Bookshelf was pleased to be part of Bridge Communities Back to School Program. YCB supplied 390 books for 65 children as part of our certificate program. These books will play an important part for the continued education and learning for the Bridge Families and Children.
