August 2021 — Your Children's Bookshelf is always looking to expand our reach in providing free books to families and children in-need. We are so pleased to have Generations Housing Initiatives as a New Program Partner of YCB. Generations Housing grew out of the Habitat Company’s Affordable Group to create an entity whose primary focus is providing vital services to its low-income residents. We have teamed together at several properties in Downtown Chicago providing books to the resident's grandchildren and family members. In 2021 we provided 2,303 books to 381 kids.
