YCB could not accomplish our goals without the support, involvement and enthusiasm of our committed members.
Karen Boston-Wright
Karen Boston-Wright — Growing up my earliest memories include the love of books. I remember my Mom and Dad taking us to the library on Friday nights and coming home with a pile of books. To this day I cherish the children’s books my Mom wrote, the Nancy Drew series and all of the Little House on the Prairie books. This love of books Karen has passed on, with her husband, to their children and grandchildren. In addition these special memories have now led to her passion to providing books to children. In addition to serving on other non-profit Boards, Karen’s Bachelor of Arts degree in education and her professional experience in building companies, leading teams and developing strategies for the health-care industry will provide a helpful foundation to grow Your Children’s Bookshelf.
